Home of Remote ISTE 2011

We need help. We are looking for people to help organize, plan and execute the fifth Remote ISTE event on June 28, 2011.

The purpose of Remote ISTE is to extend the annual ISTE Conference (former NECC) beyond the bounds of the convention center, to encourage attendance at the ISTE Conference, and to demonstrate best practices for distance learning technologies.

On one day of the ISTE Conference, we extend the conference experience to groups and individuals outside of Philadelphia. We use different distance learning technologies to share a keynote session, a hands-on workshop, concurrent sessions and a flavor of the PeoPLES (posters, playgrounds, lounges, exhibits and student showcases).

This web site is devoted to discussion, collaborationand ideas for the Remote ISTE Project delivered via telelearning and video conferencing technologies. There have been four previous Remote Conference events held at NEC 2007 (GA), NECC 2008 (VA), NECC 2009 (NJ, CO, CA) and ISTE 2010 (PA, TN, VA).

Laurie, Craig, Paul, Howie and Dawn would like to welcome you to the team of folks working to present this event. Come on in and join the fun.
